My Window Screen Is Torn

Is your screen torn?  If it’s torn within one-year of installation, Alside will re-screen it at no additional charge to you (though, like drycleaning, you’ll have to drop it off to them, and pick it up when it’s done).  If it’s more than one-year from installation, then you will have to call a local glass and screen company, or buy a fiberglass screen kit and re-roll it yourself (these kits can be found on Amazon, at any big box store, or at a local hardware store).  Here is one local option you could try for full service re-screening:

  • Aladdin’s Glass (Nicholasville, KY):  (859) 887-4070

Click on the following video to learn how to easily remove and re-install the screen in your window (it’s almost as easy as brushing your teeth!).  If it’s been more than one-year since the installation of the window, most screen repair companies will require that you deliver the screen frame to them.
